  1. Were the two Quake 1 mission packs ever sold as 1 CD? I ask because apparently it's sold on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Quake-Mission-Packs-Dissolution-Eternity-DOS/dp/B009Y9SBHW/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1550937761&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=quake+1+scourge

  4. If there were ever a game whose gameplay was a homage to Quake, it's Strafe....
  5. Real Life always has a way of intruding, doesn't it...
  6. I ask because unlike with Quake: https://quakewiki.org/wiki/pak0.pak which gives the values for pak0.pak and pak1.pak (for Registered Quake), there's no equivalent page for Quake 2: Quake II | QuakeWiki | Fandom powered by Wikia --- Since you also mentioned 3.20, it would be a good idea to list the CRC/MD5/SHA1 for those pak1 and pak2.pak files as well. Someone else might need them. As for the MD5 hash that you gave: 1ec55a724dc3109fd50dde71ab581d70 It matches mine (I do own the physical CD), so that means the files within pak0.pak are not corrupted. Thanks for that.
  7. Question for anyone who has a physical CD of Quake 2: What are those values for pak0.pak?
  8. Was it Film Noir in Egypt?:lol::lol:
  9. If I'm not mistaken, Atari is the rights holder. If anyone here happens to be megawealthy, please buy it outright from them and release the source code! :)
  10. The problem is that the creator of Blood stubbornly refuses to release the source code, which would solve many of these problems. Doom 1, 2, Final Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Duke3D, and Shadow Warrior all had their source codes released decades ago, but not Blood. It's infuriating.
  11. That works and also that headless enemy that yells "AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"
  12. At least one of these maps had better have a missing yellow key needed to complete the level... :) Or at least one Serious Sam reference...
  13. Interestingly enough, that link doesn't have the Quake 1 soundtrack in FLAC format. That would be a good thing to put in that particular folder.
